FAQs
What's your definition of 'adults only'?
By adults only we mean places that only allow people aged 16 and over on the premises: many of the places we list actually
have a higher age limit, typically 18+.
Why was this site started?
Adults only hotels don't always say they're adults only in a
search-friendly
way and travel websites sometimes show hotels as adults only when they're not,
so this site was started in May 2019 to make genuinely adult only hotels easy to find.
Who will find this website useful?
If your hotel stay would be ruined by the sight or sound of non-adults this is the website for you. We only list places that
are adults only throughout, all of the time.
What do hotels mean when they classify themselves as adults only?
Some places that allow children 5+ claim to be adults only! Some claim to be adults only yet host weddings that children
can attend. Some hotels say they're adult only yet their restaurant is open to all.
We only list places that are always child-free,
16+.
Aren't hotels child-free anyway in term time?
Not at weekends, and term times don't apply to pre-school age kids. Whether your preference is for lively
adults only hotels with entertainment or for serenely quiet places, the hotels we list are child-free all year round -
ideal for adults only UK holidays.
What sort of places do you list?
Everything from five star hotels with hot tubs for romantic weekends to budget adults only guest houses in seaside
holiday resorts.
Hotels we don't include.
List of UK adults only hotel and B&Bs.
We aim to list every UK adult only hotel and B&B. So far we've found 260 UK hotels, B&Bs and resorts with minimum age
of at least 16.
Will adults only hotels become easier to find? Adult only hotels and B&Bs do better in searches for 'adults only hotels near me' or 'adult only hotels UK' if the words 'adults only' and the minimum allowed guest age appear prominently on their website.
Which hotels can be added to this site?
Any hotel or B&B that only allows people over 16 on the premises and makes that
clear can be added.
The key criterion is the hotel, restaurant, pool, function rooms, cottages or anywhere else on site are exclusively for adults.
Clear adults only T&Cs
examples.
Adult only static caravans and lodges
If you prefer self-catering we also list UK adults only shepherd huts, static caravans, glamping pods, etc. that are in
locations such as adults only lakeside lodge retreats or adults only static caravan parks:
UK Adults Only Static Caravans and Lodges.
Adults only holidays in the UK
Whether it's a weekend break, adults only Christmas getaway, short stay or summer holiday we hope you find your ideal place
in our list of UK adults only hotels and B&Bs. Have a nice stay.
